Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a well-known disorder that afflicts victims, or witnesses to events that are highly critical (war, acts of violence, natural disasters, etc.).A team from the Indian University School of Medicine (Indianapolis- IN -U.S.A.) is developing a blood test that, through the identification of some biomarkers, could identify people who are at risk of this type of traumatic stress, if the study had good results could be easier avoid (or intervene in the best way) episodes of addiction, suicide and alcoholism, often consequences of PTSD.
